Description

This Cooper’s Hawk seems to be a local resident, as it comes to visit quite often in the colder months. My neighbor’s chickens might be further incentive for its frequent visits. At one point during its stay, it closed its eyes for a little while to snooze in the sun. Maybe it was dreaming of warmer weather.
