This winter has brought more juncos than ever before to the backyard feeders, and we’ve been fascinated by the wide variation in plumage. Some mornings it looks like there are no two juncos in the whole flock that are exactly alike!
Unusual feathers & bills
We're having a very varied junco year! Some are mottled ....
Maybe they are all siblings sharing some of the same genes 🙂 I enjoyed the series…and title!
