Description

I thought this was a returning female Scott’s Oriole, but upon closer observation, I believe this is an Audubon’s Oriole. It was very secretive, gleaning the trees. My recurring male Scott’s is still singing away and I have not seen this one again since this day. This oriole has a black head, dark greenish back and a pointy black tail. It did get some nectar at the hummingbird feeder after it ate.
