Every winter, I have a Townsend warbler in my yard. This year after closely looking at the two birds in the photos I realize it must be a couple.
Warblers, Waxwings, Wrens & Kinglets
The female without the black chest and subdued colors, compared to the male.
I have a couple in my yard as of yesterday April 10 and am also in Aptos, although a couple of miles in the hills from Aptos Village. Yay!
