Acorn Woodpeckers have been a frequent visitor to my yard for several years now. Usually one or two visit but on occasions I’ve had up to five at a time. They seem to watch out for one another, look different directions to make sure it’s safe or look for other family members. they are not bullied by the Jays unlike most other birds.
