Description

It was a dreary overcast day recently when several
of these colorful fellows spent only one evening in
my backyard wild cherry tree here in Fayette
County recently. The overcast really helped make
their breeding dress stick out that much more. The shots
I got on this evening are the only pictures I have been able to
get of these little ‘fireballs’ in their breeding dress. I
usually only observe a random few on their return trip
in the fall. This was quite a treat to say the least!
