I live in NorCal and we have been home sheltering for the last 5 weeks. Filling up my bird feeders, putting out fresh water gives me such pleasure. The goldfinches are still coming daily in the 7:00 am, 9am, 11 am. I watch them in thrir enthusiasm to empty feeders of chipped sunflowers & niger! I hope they will fly successfully to the PNW where my husband lives. They cheer my spirits daily.
