Description

The Anna’s hummingbirds like to spend time on the lilac bush near the mahonia bushes. The mahonia are currently blooming, providing a source of nectar, pollen and insects for the Anna’s hummingbirds, bushtits, chickadees, dark-eyed juncos, Bewick’s wrens and various warblers who visit the yard in the fall and winter.
