Description

When the snow drift builds up on the south side of our out building, the feeder is frequented by an Arctic Hare or Hares. As it is impossible to identify an individual, it therefore is impossible to determine how many individuals frequent the feeder. Feeding generally occurs during the night time, this we know because a full feeder in the evening can be completely empty in the morning, and by empty I mean “vacuumed” clean.

For reference, the feeder is almost five feet off the ground.
