This Blue Jay was rehabbed and banded at the Lake Erie Nature and Science Center in Bay Village, Ohio. It was released at my property, and continued to be seen at my feeders for weeks after.

We have 3 regular Jays coming to our feeders and have just noticed one of them is banded Blue Jay at our feeders in Sharon Ontario Canada. We have not been able to get close enough for a photo to try obtain a clear photo of the band. But it is definitely banded. We have a friend who is a photographer of birds and she advises she has never seen a banded Jay.
