Two photos I took of a Barred Owl who was sitting on the ground under some birch trees just 10 feet from my feeders. It was quite shocking to see him at 830 in the morning just hanging out like that!
Predatory birds
Saw this lovely Barred Owl sitting on the ground under some birch trees about 10 feet away from my feeders. It was about 830 AM and very overcast. I was quite surprised to see him there!! Glad my camera was nearby for a pic. I hope he wasn't eyeing my tiny bird friends who visit my feeders!
