Looks like a juvenile sharp-shinned hawk (skinny legs and size is what is leaning us towards a sharpie). Was sitting in the bushes beside our feeders and then perched on the nearby play structure. No success in its hunt this time around.
Predatory birds
It looks like a Cooper’s hawk to be based on the blocky head and crest on the back of th head. But it’s hard to tell them apart for sure. Lovely shot.
