Description

First time I saw this bird, and it had a partner. Was climbing down a tree limb like a nuthatch, but different colorings. I determined it by using Merlin. It was not afraid, dropped to the ground and skittered around just a few feet in front of us for about a minute.

Black And White Warbler

Black and White warbler seen today at Jetton Park at 11:02 am. This is a wooded park next to Lake Norman, in Cornelius NC. It had a partner, was skittering up and down a tree limb (like a nuthatch). It then dropped to the ground, was not fearful of us walking on the path and allowed me to do several photos.
