Description

The reason for all the stones in these photos is because we had several days of snow and freezing rain, and the only place in the vicinity that wasn’t buried under a thick layer of ice was this rock-strewn area beneath a raised shed. It was the only sheltered place where I could reach in about a foot and spread some feed for the birds who were really struggling in the terrible weather conditions. Dozens of birds took advantage of the shelter and the grub.
