Description

Because of the slope of the ground, my garage has to be raised on one end in order for it to be level. The empty space beneath the garage has always been a convenient passage between the woods and my yard for birds and all other kinds of critters
There were three Carolina Wren fledglings, having left their nest, but apparently were still too young to fly, because they made no attempt to come to the feeders. They only huddled together just outside the garage space while their mother flew back and forth to my feeders and brought them goodies to eat.
