Description

I’ve been adding dried mealworms to my feeders during the winter, to give the wintering-over Bluebirds some extra protein. Then, in early Spring the Mockingbirds discovered those treats and began making regular visits to the feeders. Then, I began to see an increase in the Carolina Wren visits to my yard and my feeders — all, seemingly, because of a preference for the dried mealworms.
