Description

This image was captured on a recent afternoon
on a small lake. The fish weren’t biting much for me,
the insects weren’t active for the swallows so
both of us had the pleasure of just kind of kicking
back and enjoying the warm afternoon sunshine for
a bit. It is also of note that a single nearby tree
had four pairs of tree swallows using it as something
of a ‘nesting condominium.’ It appears they are well
along with nesting duties and the young should begin
to appear in the next few days.

I love how this bird has a pretty shade of blue. I like how it looks like it is sooked in water
