This Common Raven is hanging out near the goat herds in Fort Ord National Monument. It found an apple and took it to the top of a water container to eat it.

I looooove your photos! I like ravens a lot & enjoy their antics. One here periodically follows me on my runs…strange but I got used to it & miss the couple when they’re gone.
Thanks for the nice comments, Barbie. Yes I agree, Ravens are fun to watch. We see large flocks at times in Fort Ord National Monument in the Salinas Valley. This one has been hanging out near the winter goat herds.
