While doing our feederwatch count, a cooper’s hawk caught a pigeon about 3ft away from the feeder! It then spent the next couple of hours eating it under a tree in the back of the yard. We weren’t the only ones enjoying Christmas dinner. (Picture taken through a spotting scope)
