The Gray-headed subspecies now breeds in urban Denver – documented for the first time in 2021. As a result, Gray-headed Juncos, adults and fledglings/juveniles, are in our urban yard much of the summer – this is new. This bird is on a backyard water bath with a sculpted bird yet to be identified.
