Just got to catch the end of a Northern Goshawk taking a Eurasian Collared Dove from my feeder. It was close to sunset and I happened to glance out the window and see a dark shape on the ground just beyond my main feeder. Grabbed the camera and got a few shots off just as the Goshawk finished its meal.

Every now and then, I’ll see a hawk–usually a Red-shouldered–swoop in and take a bird from around my feeders, but it’s always a “take-out order,” they never stop and eat it here.
