I’ve had Eastern Bluebirds wintering-over for several years. Normally they come for the mealworms that I put out, and I’ve seen them picking sunflower hearts, but this is actually the first time I have ever seen one choose a peanut as his first choice. Anyway, it’s great to see the Bluebirds back at my feeders, since this was the initial feeder visit of this year.
