It’s a winter of firsts for me: The first time I’ve seen an Eastern Phoebe wintering over; the first time I’ve seen a Phoebe using a feeder; and now, the first time I’ve seen a Phoebe choose a piece of walnut over the fruit and mealworms on the tray feeder.
