As I was walking back from the mailbox near dusk, I was astonished to see a great blue heron perched on my roof. I live in a regular neighborhood not near a waterbody. The cell phone photo won’t win any awards but you can still tell what the bird is. I am not good with technology (understatement) but it looks like the file was attached. Let me know if it doesn’t come through and I will send it some other way – maybe email it to you.
