Description

I was up and gone early on Sunday morning. I went back down to the wooded area behind the Citrus County Sheriffs office to see if the Great Horned Owls were still around. I had found them there a few weeks back When I get there when it was dark and just sat in the truck and waited. About 20 minutes i heard a hoot sounded like it was a ways off so i called back and waited. Soon one flew past me and went up into a tree and posed. I worked with him for quite a while before his mate showed up. I call to the owl sparingly enough to get them to hoot. then i go silent making them wonder what the that other owl is doing.
