I looked out the window and saw what I thought was a Catbird on the heated birdbath. I took a few photos and got the binoculars, and sure enough, it was a catbird, here in Minnesota on December 7th. Poor little thing forgot to migrate! At first it didn't seem like she knew what to do once she landed on one of the feeders, but in short time she was feasting on peanuts and sunflowers. She stayed a few days, and hopefully has made it to much warmer weather.
