This immature red shouldered hawk stayed in the area of my bird feeder for about 20 minutes. Although he kept a sharp eye on the song birds coming and going he never attacked.

My neighbor took a photo of this juvenile red shouldered hawk hiding in the woods behind my bird feeder.
