Wondering if the disease has been spotted this far north?
Finches
This bird was seen at a feeder in the area of Parry Sound Ontario. I am very concerned about the spread of this eye disease.
We have seen it this summer in northern NY – about 25 miles from Prescott, Ontario. We immediately took our feeders down and the birds dispersed. When we put the finch feeder up they did not come back.
