A Sharp-shinned hawk waiting for some dumb bird to come to this feeder. I somehow suspect it’s going to be a long long LONG wait!
Predatory birds
Somehow, I don't think the birds are going to show up at this feeder.
I, looked up.. Brookings.OR. 12.9% of the population walks or rides a bike to work..Great stuff.. and also looked up the species and birds in your area.. This sharp-shinned hawk.. is Sharp.. because.. I, was absolutely impressed with his chosen,, place..many , many bird species.. and looking at your picture of him.. he has indeed a most respectable menu available.. and your beautiful picture seems to portray stealth and assurance..
