I found a bunch of Blue Jay feathers under my feeder. The day before I saw 2 Blue Jays “fighting” over the feed. In the early afternoon of Dec. 29 I saw a injured blue jay feeding in one of my covered feeders. I walked to the feeder and refilled the others. It then flew away. The next afternoon, I saw the blue jay feeding on the ground. I walked nearby and it only hopped slowly into the forest. A few minutes later it was back. I haven’t seen it since.
