Description

We have recently noticed that despite fewer birds at the feeder, it would get emptied frequently. The feeder is elevated 9 ft. above the ground. We knew it wasn’t squirrels or raccoons. The other morning, our dog alerted us to the culprit–a large bull moose. He made himself right at home. After losing interest in the feeder, he proceeded to clean up the tray we placed to keep the seeds out of the snow. He was less than 10 ft from the door. When we shared the photo with family, we were informed we didn’t need more seed, we needed “Moose-seed”. I enjoy watching the moose as much as the birds.
