Description

Frigid temperatures and 8 plus inches of heavy wet snow brought large numbers of birds to our feeders, some of which we had not seen for months. Among the standard American Goldfinches, this bird appeared, lowest right position on the drop down squirrel buster feeder. The head was pale yellow, body almost white, black eyes. We thought it was a leucistic American Goldfinch. This was the best picture I could get with my phone through the window.
