This hawk stayed in the yard, on the ground, for at least 4 minutes. It must have seen something it wanted as it walked around the area and went into the shrubs. It did not seem to get whatever it was after and finally left. When we first noticed the hawk, there was a crow sitting on a tree branch watching it.
