Neither the Hairy nor the Downy Woodpeckers minds going upside down to get the suet.
Woodpeckers & Sapsuckers
Hung the suet under another feeder to thwart the Grackles and Squirrels. This Hairy Woodpecker doesn't mind hanging upside down.
