Bird arrives in May, may start nesting in box & then abandons it. Stays just a few days. Very small, less than 4″ probably.
Warblers, Waxwings, Wrens & Kinglets
What is this bird? A Kinglet? stays for few days in May.
This looks like a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Don’t know why she would abandon the nest (perhaps the weather changed?) May is early in the nesting season.
