Description

When I spotted and photographed this little bird, I realized that it was a species I had never seen.
I identified it in the books and read up on it. It is not rare in Maryland, lives in forest with moisture( my land is Forested Wetlands,so I have the right habitat. Gnatcatchers are insects eaters–my feeders are predominantly
seeds–guess who will start putting out some insects.? This is a female, male has more black around eyes
and some blue on head. I am always happy to meet a new bird.😊
