Description

Placed a new tube feeder on a shepherd’s hook earlier in the day. Both male and female Northern Cardinal in tree, with the female a few branches above/away from the male. The female flew out of the tree and flapped her wings a few times right up against the feeder, but flew off instead of eating. Male followed. Both later seen together at bowl with water on a deck. (Bowl sometimes has seed, but none currently present due to recent rain.)
