This Mockingbird pulled the same trick last year. It started coming to my feeders in late winter and got all my hopes up for having a wonderful singer in the nearby trees when the weather got warm enough for me to open my windows or be outside to enjoy the songs. But, when that time came around, the Mockingbird was nowhere to be seen, OR HEARD — the ingrate! I was had!
