Description

The Mockingbirds seem to like the fruit at our feeders. Throughout the season, they have eaten the raisins, oranges, and pomegranates that we put out. It is not surprising, though, as they also eat the paddle cactus fruit when it ripens in late fall. Now that it is warmer, we also see them “hunting” for insects (lifting their wings as they walk along the ground.)
