My sister did not believe that a Red-bellied Woodpecker actually had a red belly-so I sent these pics to her to help her identify the differences between male and female. I decided to post these because I liked them😊

They do have Red-bellies. I see them at Edith Moore. (I do not have them at my feeder) A better name would have been Red-crowned Woodpecker, since the red belly is not always visible.
