Description

On February 10th a flock of Pine Siskins swirled down on our deck and began ravenously eating, primarily from our thistle feeder. I was so surprised to see them in a snowy february, especially since they havent been here since some time this Fall. I didnt see them at all for over a week, until today when they descended again! The max I counted today was 8, but I suspect there were more because they were on the deck and in the surrounding trees all day long. I am not sure if I would have realized they were here if I hadnt been watching for Project Feederwatch 🙂
