Red-breasted Nuthatch and Tufted Titmice sampling homemade peanut butter suet dough (recipe from Julie Zickefoose, Bird Watchers Digest). Titmice are year-round denizens of our backyard and so are the other nuthatches – the White-breasted. But the Red-breasted Nuthatch is more rare for us and only seen in winter.
