Our raptor friend captured and killed a squirrel at around 11:30 AM on 12/13/14. It took her/him approximately 1 1/2 hours to completely consume the squirrel, while keeping a sharp eye out for any other interfering species at our bird feeder. Wow, what an experience to watch! Nature is all around us if we take time to notice and experience the other species with which we share our planet.
Predatory birds
Red Tail hawk kills and completely consumes squirrel on 12/13/14 AM. It took her/him approximately 1 1/2 hours to take care of business. Wow, this was an incredible experience to watch. Sorry about the rotated pics, hopefully you can correct them. Yours, Paul G. Brown
