I don’t often see any Rose-breasted Grosbeaks during their Fall migration, but this young male showed up this year. He is still in the process of transitioning into his mature male colors.

I don’t recall ever seeing them in the Fall in central GA but have several visiting my feeder for the last several days. They also appear to be young males with several females. I wonder if hurricane Helene has anything to do with their visit. I have enjoyed having them.
