Here on Tennessee’s Cumberland Plateau–west of the Skoky Mountains–the Grosbeaks usually arrive in the 3rd and 4th week of April, although once they showed up on the 7th. This 2023, the first to arrive were on the 16th of April…right on time.

Grosbeaks arrive, punctual as always
I once saw a male fly over, that was the only time that I saw one. They haven’t arrived in Texas yet but I’m hoping that some will come to the feeder.
