I’ve had Anna’s Hummingbirds all winter – though there was a decided dip in activity after my neighbors did some extensive landscaping and removed a large chunk of one of the hummer’s favorite trees. But this weekend, I got a new visitor. This ball of fire Rufous is new on the scene but very much in charge of who gets to eat at the nectar feeder.
