Description

We watched this Sharp-shinned Hawk hide in the pine tree until the unsuspecting Starlings showed up at the feeders. The hawk wasted no time in choosing and dispatching a Starling and thus enjoying breakfast. Hawk ate where he made the kill, so we were able to watch through windows from beginning to end.
