A Sharp Shinned Hawk successful at grabbing a female painted bunting.
Predatory birds
A small sharp shinned hawk unfortunately successful in grabbing a female painted bunting - has the poor bird trapped in his claws. Very sad for the bunting however what an experience to see the hawk in action. Contemplating on taking down the feeders.
