Amid a panicky flurry of wings at our feeder station, a loud “clunk” on our window announced an ill-chosen escape route for a Mourning Dove that was followed by dinner for a Sharp-shinned Hawk.

Species: Sharp-shinned Hawk
The feeder site attracts the Mourning Doves, which then attract the Sharpies (and Coops).
