The squirrels are always finding unique ways to get food out of the bird feeders. If I had a choice between the squirrels and the Brown-headed Cowbirds… I would pick the squirrels every time.

Hanging For Sunflower Seeds
I have 8-10 squirrels at my feeders per day, they are so aggressive towards my birds, I have also had 500 cowbirds. I chose the cowbirds every time.
